MATERIALS:
4ply Red Heart yarn in Cherry Red, Lion Brand Fun Fur eyelash yarn in violet, size G hook or hook to obtain gauge.
GAUGE: 6 sc\dc = 1”, 4 rows sc\dc = 1”

HAT:
With Cherry Red and G hook ch-4, sl st to from a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, (sc, dc) 5 times in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
RND 2: (Sc, dc) in ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (20 sts)
RND 3: * Sc next dc, dc next sc, (sc, dc) next 2 sts, * rep bet ** around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (30 sts)
RND 4: * (sc next dc, dc next sc) twice, [sc, dc] next 2 sts, * rep bet ** around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (40 sts)
RND 5: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 6: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) twice, * (sc next dc, dc next sc) twice, [sc, dc] next 2 sts, * rep bet ** around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (52 sts)
RND 7: Rep rnd 5.
RND 8: Rep rnd 6. (68 sts)
RND 9-13: Rep rnd 5. At the end of rnd 13, join violet and fasten off cherry red.
RND 14-17: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. At the end or rnd 17, join cherry red, fasten off violet.
