FINISHING: Sew wings to bat at the sides.  Cut out eyes, mouth and teeth from felt and glue to bat’s face.  When dry, turn inside-out and place inside right side out pumpkin matching tops and bottoms, sew tog.
GHOST
MATERIALS NEEDED: White 4 ply yarn, needle to take yarn, some black and white felt, glue and size G hook.
FINISHED SIZE: Approx. 3 inches.
BASE:
Rep rnd 1-4 of pumpkin using white yarn.  At the end of rnd 4, fasten off.
GHOST’S BODY:
ROW 1: With white yarn and G hook ch-8, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (7 sts)
ROW 2-31: Working in back lps now, sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.  At the end of row 31, sl st last st or row to 1st st of row, fasten off.
ROW 32: Turn work so you are now working across the ends of rows 1-31, join white yarn in 1st row, ch-1, sc sa st as ch-1, sc ea end across, ch-1, turn.  (31 sts)
