MATERIALS: Black and White 4 ply yarn, needle to take yarn, stuffing, one 60 minute timer, H hook or hook needed to obtain gauge and one set 1\2” toy eyes.
GAUGE: 4 sc\dc st pattern = 1”, 3 rows sc\dc st pattern = 1”
Originally intended as a time-out bear to help keep track to time outs, my daughter and her friends also use it as a timekeeper for turns at computer games.
About the yarn I used:
I used Red Heart Super Saver (#4) yarn, but any #4 yarn will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
