Blue Stripes Loop Textured Rug Crochet Pattern

The design sample was made using Red Heart 4 ply yarns and size H crochet hook.
Finished size: 28” X 55-1\2”.
This rug gets its unique texture with chain loops worked as you go. It’s great on bare feet!

MATERIALS:

2 skeins of ea color 4 ply Red Heart Supersaver yarn in Soft Navy, Delft Blue, Aran and Light Blue and size H hook.
GAUGE: 4 rows hdc = 1”, 4 rows pattern = 1”
FINISHED RUG: 28” X 55-1\2”
RUG:
ROW 1: With Navy yarn and H hook ch-178, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, turn. (176 sts)
ROW 2: Sl st to next st, (ch-9, sl st next 2 sts) across, ending with ch-9, sl st next st, turn.
ROW 3: Press lps to bk of work, ch-1, hdc in ea st across, turn.
