ROW 1: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 13 sts, hdc dec next 2 sts, leaving the rest of the sts unworked and you are now working in rows, ch-2, turn. (15 sts)
ROW 2-5: Hdc ea st across, ch-2, turn.
ROW 6-9: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc ea st across, ch-2, turn. At the end of row 9 you will have 11 sts.
ROW 10: Hdc ea st across, ch-2, turn.
ROW 11: Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 7 sts, hdc dec last 2 sts, fasten off. (9 sts)
NEXT PETAL:
ROW 1: Join Skipper Blue yarn in next st after last st of row 1 of last petal made, ch-2, hdc dec sa st as ch-2 and next st, hdc next 13 sts, hdc dec next 2 sts, leaving the rest of the sts unworked, ch-2, turn. (15 sts)
ROW 2-11: Rep row 2-11 of 1st petal.
FINISHING:
With Skipper Blue yarn and J hook, join in any st in any petal of flower rug, ch-1, evenly sc in ea row and st around entire flower, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
