Heart Patches Crochet Pattern

Design samples were made using DMC Pearl Cotton and size O (zero) crochet hook.
You get the instructions to make a solid heart patch in 3 different sizes as well as a two-color heart on a two-color background.
Patches sizes: Large 2” square; Medium 1-1\2” square; Small 1” square.
The can either be sewn onto a garment or glued on using a no-sew glue.

Size 5 DMC Pearl Cotton Thread in white and black and size 0 (zero) crochet hook.
FINISHED SIZES: Lg: 2” square; Med: 1-1\2” square and Sm: 1” square
LARGE TWO-COLOR HEART:
ROW 1: With white DMC and 0 (zero) hook ch-17, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next 7 ch, join black DMC, drop white, sc next 8 ch, ch-1, turn. (16 sts)
ROW 2: Sc next 7 sts, drop black, pick up white, sc next st, drop white, pick up black, sc next st, drop black, pick up white, sc next 7 sts, ch-1, turn.
