ROW 1: Ch-5, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc next ch, hdc next ch, 2 dc next ch, turn piece so you are now working across bottom foundation ch, hdc next ch, sc next 2 ch, join white, ch-1, turn. Fasten off black. (8 sts)
ROW 2: Sc next st, hdc next st, 2 dc next st, 2 trc next 2 sts, 2 dc next st, hdc next st, sc last st, fasten off. (12 sts)
MOUTH:
ROW 1: With black and G hook ch-2, sc 2 nd ch from hook, ch-1, turn. (1 st)
ROW 2-32: Sc, ch-1, turn. At the end of row 36 fasten off.
MOUTH SIDES (MAKE TWO):
Rep row 2-8 of mouth. At the end of row 8 fasten off.
EYEBROW (MAKE TWO):
With Warm brown rep rows 1- 10 of mouth, fasten off end row 10.
FINISHING:
With needle and matching yarn, sew hat to head over lapping 1st row of hat with top of head. Sew hatband and buckle to hat. Sew eyes and mouth to face.
