Monkey Bulletin Board Crochet Pattern
Materials: 4 ply yarn in Coffee, Buff, black and white, H hook or hook needed to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, some foam board, craft knife and craft glue.
GAUGE: 4 (sc, dc) sts = 1”, 4 rows of pattern = 1”
FINISHED SIZE: about 9” in diameter
HEAD:
With Coffee yarn and H hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work (sc, dc) 5 times in ring, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
RND 2: (Sc, dc) ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (20 sts)
RND 3: * sc next dc, dc next sc, (sc, dc) next 2 sts, * rep bet ** around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (30 sts)
RND 4: * (sc next dc, dc next sc) twice, (sc, dc) next 2 sts, * rep bet ** around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (40 sts)
RND 5: (Sc next dc, dc next sc) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
GAUGE: 4 (sc, dc) sts = 1”, 4 rows of pattern = 1”
