PURSE SIDE (MAKE TWO):
ROW 1: With hemp and H hook ch-11, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
ROW 2: 2 sc 1st st, sc across to last st, 2 sc last st, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
ROW 3: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Rep row 2. (14 sts)
ROW 5: Rep row 3.
ROW 6: Rep row 2. (16 sts)
ROW 7-18: Rep row 3. End row 18, do not fasten off.
Beg with unbeaded short end and along its long edge sl st side to purse.
STRAP (2-1\2” x 29”):
ROW 1: With hemp and H hook ch-3, sc 2n ch from hook, sc next ch, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)
ROW 2-10: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 11-15: 2 sc 1st st, sc ea st across, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)(4 sts)(5 sts)(6 sts)(7 sts)
ROW 16: (Sc next st, slide bead, sc next st) 3 times, sc last st, ch-1, turn.
ROW 17: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 18: (Slide bead, sc next 2 sts) 3 times, sc last st, ch-1, turn.
