ROW 11: Sc next st, drop white, pick up black, sc next 5 sts, drop black, pick up white, sc next 4, drop white, pick up black, sc next 5, drop black, pick up white, sc last st, ch-1, turn.
ROW 12: Sc next 2 sts drop white, pick up black, sc next 3 sts, drop bk, pick up white, sc next 6, drop white, pick up bk, sc next 3, fasten off bk, pick up white, sc last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 13: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
RND 14: Evenly sc ea st and row around working 3 sc in ea corner, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
MEDIUM TWO-COLOR HEART PATCH:
ROW 1: With white DMC and 0 (zero) hook ch-11, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next 4 ch, join black DMC, drop white, sc last 5 ch, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
ROW 2: Sc next 4 sts, drop black, pick up white, sc next, drop white, pick up black, sc next, drop black, pick up white, sc last 4 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Sc next 3 sts, drop white, pick up black, sc next 2, drop black, pick up white, sc next 2, drop white, pick up black, sc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
