ROW 12: Sc next 2 sts, drop black, pick up white, sc next 3, drop white, pick up black, sc next 3 sts, drop black, pick up white, sc next 3 sts, drop white, pick up black, sc next 3 sts, drop black, pick up white, sc last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 13: Sc next 8 sts, drop white, pick up black, sc next 8 sts, ch-1, turn.
RND 14: Evenly sc ea st and row around in appropriate color and working 3 sc in ea corner, sl st fasten off all threads.
LARGE SOILD COLOR HEART:
ROW 1: With white DMC and 0 (zero) hook ch-17, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn.  (16 sts)
ROW 2: Sc next 7 sts, join black DMC and working white behind sts, sc next 2 sts, drop black, pick up white, sc last 7 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Sc next 6 sts, pick up black DMC and working white behind sts, sc next 4 sts, drop black, pick up white, sc last 6 sts, ch-1, turn.
