ROW 4: Wh sc next 3 sts, DP sc next 4 sts, LP sc next 7 sts, Wh sc last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5: Wh sc next st, LP sc next 9 sts, DP sc next 4 sts, Wh sc last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6: Wh sc next st, fasten off Wh, DP sc next 4 sts, LP sc last 11 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 7: Lp sc next 11 sts, DP sc last 5 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 8: DP sc next 5 sts, Lp sc next 5 sts, DP sc next st, Lp sc last 5 sts, join Wh, ch-1, turn.
ROW 9: Wh sc next st, LP sc next 3 sts, Wh sc next st, DP sc next 2 sts, LP sc next 3 sts, fasten off LP, Wh sc next st, DP sc last 5 sts, ch-1, turn.

USING THE PATCH:
You can sew or glue (no-sew glue) the patches to pants, shirts, hats, purses, etc.  You can also make longer and turn into a belt, curtain tie back or even use 4 ply yarns to make a pillow or afghan.
