RND 3-6: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. At the end of rnd 6 fasten off black and join soft white.
RND 7: 2 sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (24 sts)
RND 8-12: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 13: (Sc dec next 2 sts tog as 1, sc next st) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (16 sts)
RND 14-15: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 16: 2 sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (32 sts)
RND 17: (2 sc next st, sc next 3 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (40 sts)
