SCARF:
ROW 1: With yarn and H hook ch-2, sc 2 nd ch from hook, ch-1, turn.
ROW 2-30: Sc, ch-1, turn. At the end of row 30 fasten off.
(In my examples I did one green with burgundy fringe, one with burgundy and royal fringe and one with royal and burgundy fringe.)
FRINGE:
With contrasting color of yarn from scarf cut three 5” lengths of yarn. Fold yarn in half, insert hook through bottom st of scarf, yo and pull through lp, insert cut ends of yarn into lp and pull tight. Rep on other side.
HAT:
RND 1: With 1st color ch-12, sl st to form a ring, ch-1, sc in ea ch around, join 2 nd color, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn, fasten off 1 st color yarn. (12 sts)
RND 2: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.
RND 3: (Sk next st, sc next 5 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (10 sts)
RND 4: (Sk next st, sc next 4 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 5: (Sk next st, sc next 3 sts) around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)
ROW 1: With yarn and H hook ch-
