ROW 2: Ch-1, sc in 1st dc, * ch-9, sk 1 dc, [sc, ch-4, 2 trc cl st (work trc in sa st leaving last lp n hook twice, yo through all lps on hook-2 trc cl st made), sk next dc, (2 trc cl st, ch-4, sc) in next dc; rep from * to last 2 sps, ch-3, sk next dc, sc in 3rd ch of beg ch-8 or row 1, turn. (6 bottom flowers made.
ROW 3: Ch-10 (1st trc + ch-4), sc in next ch-9 lp, * ch-4, sl st top next 2 trc cl st, work {2 trc cl st, ch-4, sl st sa st, ch-4, 2 trc cl st] in sa st, ch-4, sc in next ch-9 lp: rep from * to end, ch-4, trc in last sc, turn. (You now have 6 finished flowers)
ROW 4: Ch-1, sc in 1st trc, * ch-5, sc top of next 2 trc cl st: rep from * across ending with sc in 6th ch of ch-10 from beg row 3, turn.
ROW 5: Ch-5 (1st dc + ch-2), dc next ch-5 lp, ch-2, dc next sc, * ch-2, dc next ch-5 lp, ch-2, dc next sc, rep from * across, turn.
Rep pattern sequence of row 2-5 a total of 6 more times, fasten off.
At top of robe count over to 3rd ch-5 lp from edge in 2nd row from top, carefully insert arm in this space all the way to shoulder. Rep sa placement on other side. With matching thread run a basting st across top of robe, gather to fit torso, knot off.
Tie ribbon around doll’s waist. Sew or glue two ribbon flowers at top of lace robe. Sew or glue remaining flowers across the bottom of the skirt.
