MATERIALS:
Small amount of size 10 crochet thread in Bridal Blue, Two 27 yd skeins DMC size 5 Metallic Pearl Cotton in Silver, size 7 crochet hook, 228 pearl beads size 4mm, large eye beading needle, necklace clasp, sewing needle and sewing thread.
FINISHED SIZE: 26” long
Please note: to crochet beads to the back of your work you work the hdc sts until 3 loops are on the hook, slide the bead down and complete the stitch. To crochet beads to the front of your work, you slide the bead down and then make the stitch.
PENDANT:
With large eye beading needle thread 66 beads onto crochet thread, remove the needle.
With thread and 7 hook ch-3 sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-1, work 8 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
RND 2: (Bead hdc next st, hdc sa st) ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (16 sts)
RND 3: (Bead hdc) ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
RND 4: Rep rnd 2. (32 sts)
RND 5: Rep rnd 3. End rnd 5, join Silver, fasten off Blue.
RND 6: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, fasten off.
