ROW 8: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
RND 9: Evenly sc in ea st and row around working 3 sc in ea corner, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
If you’d like outline butterfly with one strand of Brown. Also use the brown to make 2 small antenna.
SMALL BUTTERFLY PATCH:
ROW 1: With Gold DMC and 0 (zero) hook ch-7, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)
ROW 2: Gold next 3 sts, join Olive, drop Gold, sc next, drop Olive, pick up Gold, sc last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Gold next sts, Olive next 2, join Brown, drop Olive, sc next, drop Brown, pick up Gold, sc last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Gold next st, Olive next 2, Brown next, fasten off Brown, Gold last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5: Gold next 3 sts, Olive next, fasten off Olive, Gold last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
