If you’d like outline butterfly with one strand of Brown. Also use the brown to make 2 small antenna.
MEDIUM BUTTERFLY PATCH:
ROW 1: With Gold DMC and 0 (zero) hook ch-9, sc 2 nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (8 sts)
ROW 2: Sc next 3 sts, join Orange DMC, drop Gold, sc next 2, drop Orange, pick up Gold, sc last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 3: Gold next 2 sts, join Brown, sc next, Orange next, join Olive, sc next, Orange next 2, Gold last st, ch-1, turn.
ROW 4: Gold next st, Orange next 3, Brown next, Orange next 2, Gold last st, ch-1, turn.
ROW 5: Gold next st, Orange next st, Olive next st, fasten off Olive, Orange next, Brown next, fasten off Brown, Gold last 3 sts, ch-1, turn.
ROW 6: Gold next 4 sts, Orange next 2, Gold last 2 sts, ch-1, turn.
