Sew ea section to a ring across short ends and leaving 1st ring free on one side. To wear belt place around waist and tie off free end of last ring.
Crochet stripes to break up the color. You could also do ea section in a different color or varying degrees of the same color. You could also make the belt with just one brass ring. It’s all up to you and your imagination!
