Flower Rug Free Crochet Pattern
Design sample was made using two strands of Red heart 4 ply yarn and size J crochet hook. The use of double strands makes this rug extra heavy duty.

MATERIALS:
16 oz. Skipper Blue 4 ply Red Heart yarn, 4 oz. Light Blue 4 ply Red Heart yarn, J crochet hook or hook needed to obtain gauge.
FINISHED SIZE: 26” X 26”
Gauge: 3 hdc = 1”, 2 rows hdc = 1”
RUG:
PLEASE NOTE: The rug is made using two strands of 4 ply yarn. Beg ch-2 in ea rnd does not count as a st.
With Light Blue yarn and J hook, ch-5, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: Ch-2, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-2, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2: (Hdc next 2 sts, 2 hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-2, turn. (16 sts)
RND 3: Hdc next st, (hdc next 2 sts, 2 hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-2, turn.
