TOP WING OF BUTTERFLY (MAKE TWO):
ROW 1: With custard and F hook ch-5, hdc 2nd ch from hook, dc next 2 ch, 2 trc next ch, turn so you are now working across the bottom of the foundation ch, 2 trc next ch, dc next 2 ch, hdc last ch, join blue, ch-1, turn, fasten off custard.  (10 sts)
ROW 2: Hdc next 3 sts, 2 dc next, 3 trc next 2, 2 dc next, hdc last 3, turn.  (16 sts)
ROW 3: Sl st next 6 sts, 2 sc next 2, ch-4, sl st in 1st ch of ch-4, 2 sc next 2, sl st last 6 sts, fasten off.
BOTTOM WING OF BUTTERFLY (MAKE TWO):
ROW 1: With custard and F hook ch-9, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next 6 ch, 3 sc next ch, turn so you are now working across the bottom of foundation ch, sc ea ch across, join blue, ch-1, turn, fasten off custard.
ROW 2: Sc next 7 sts, (ch-3, sl st in 1st ch of ch-3, 2 sc next st) twice, ch-3, sl st 1st ch of ch-3, sc next 7, fasten off.
BUTTERFLY BODY:
RND 1: With Pink and F hook ch-17, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next 14 ch, 2 sc next, turn so now working across bottom of foundation ch, sc ea ch across, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.
With needle and yarn sew a bottom wing to ea top wing.  Sew ea wing section to butterfly’s body.  Sew completed butterfly to wrong side of egg.
